Below are some of the more common plastic products we use to create custom fabricated plastic displays and
architectural plastic projects:
Acrylic: A hard, lightweight material used as a substitute for glass in windows,
store displays, picture frames, food containers, and many more applications. Acrylic
is 12 times stronger than glass in the same thickness, and only 1/3 the weight.
Available not only in clear, but many colors as well.
PETG: A high impact, clear material whose durability and ease of fabrication make
it ideal for store displays, literature racks, and other often handled items. Other
uses include machine guards, food guards, and vending machine windows.
Polycarbonate: This is the material that defines high impact glass replacement.
Virtually unbreakable, polycarbonate is used for machine guards, off road vehicle
glazing, boat and racecar windows, bus shelters, and many other applications where
this level of impact resistance is needed.
Twinwall Polycarbonate: A lightweight, thin walled, ribbed panel used in porch enclosures,
deck covers, windscreens and greenhouse applications. It exhibits exceptional strength
for such a light material. Most common thickness is ¼”, but thicker
gauges are available for industrial applications.
Foamed PVC: This material is widely used in the display industry because of its
lightweight, ease of fabrication, and the wide range of colors available.
